Product Information

• Runs as a multi-user program on a network or on a single PC

• Note: This program is for pre-season and regular season only. It does not support post-season (playoffs).

• Enter the point spread before each week (if using point spread)
• Enter the final scores of the games. The program will do all the rest of the work such a calculating the winners and standings.
• Lock a week. Once the week is locked, no more changes can be made to that week. The administrator can also unlock a week.
• There is a screen and/or report that will tell you which players have not made their picks.
• Lock a player. Once a player is locked, that player can not make any more picks until he/she is unlocked.
• Delete a player. A deleted player does not show up in any reports or standings and his/her logon is disabled. You may un-delete a player.
• You have the option of only allowing an administrator to add new players or let the players add themselves to the game.
• You can setup a global message to display whenever any player logs on. This is useful for general announcements. Example: "Congratulations to Bob Smith. He got every pick correct!!"
• You can setup a message for any individual player that will display when only he/she logs on. This is useful for private reminders. Example: "When are you going to pay?"
• An administrator can enter picks for any player. For those players that do not have access to a PC, they just need to turn in a pick sheet to an administrator and he/she can enter the picks.
• Change user passwords.

• Players need only enter their picks. If they are unable to do so, they may have an administrator enter their picks or have someone log on as them (if the player gives out his/her password) and enter the picks.
• Players cannot see other players picks until the week is locked.

• Any Windows operating system.

This is a safe installation.
You can be confidant that the installation will not adversely affect your system. Football Pool was designed to be totally unobtrusive to your system.
No files will be added, deleted or modified in your Windows directory.
None of your ini files will be modified.
No registry settings will be added or modified.
No dll's will be registered.

All the files will be put into one directory.
This directory is usually c:\Program Files\Football Pool.   However, you may install to any directory.
The total space used is only 3 meg.

Uninstall
To uninstall, you only need to delete the C:\Program Files\Football Pool directory.

Network Installation
Install the football pool software on a shared drive where the players have 'update' privileges'. You do NOT have to install anything on the workstation PC's.  You would have to instruct each player to use Window's Explorer to double-click on 'fb_pool.exe'   in the shared directory to start the program.  You could setup a 'shortcut' icon on each workstation to make it easier.
